A resident of Handsworth, Birmingham approaches military personnel on the street to question what they are doing there. He asks:
"Why is there a need for army on the streets knocking on people's doors to see if they want to be tested?"
The person dressed in military uniform and dayglow orange vest replied: "We're just here to support the [Birmingham City] Council and hand them out".
"Under the directive of Birmingham City Council"
The "officer" stated that they are in the "Air Force".
So there we have it, it seems the British Royal Air Force are now employed to go cold calling on the streets of Britain to intimidate people into getting "tested" on behalf of at least one local council - Birmingham City Council.
